At the center “THE GOLD QUEEN” is a strong compassionate queen created in KB’s mind and brought to life and ART combining Gold paint Photography; painted canvas skirt and a mesh crown adorned with Swarovski crystals. She is representative of the beauty and strength and compassion in all women “QUEENDOM”. “PIRATE KINGS” brings two iconic artists WARHOL and BASQUIAT ( original photographs byBrad Branson and Bystedt joined together through “media manipulation” printed on watercolor archival paper and crowned with KBs version of the “Basquiat crown” then pimped out with spray paint, diamond dust, gold glitter and stencils to create a unique mixed media Art-Work. The message is inclusion and “KINGDOM”.For “KING TUPAC” KB had a custom Plexi box constructed with a Plexi box within the box housing an original cross by “Alligator Jesus” exactly parallel to Tupac’s own cross. In this iconic photo modeled for designer, Karl Kani “the originator of streetwear “- Tupac models a luxurious pair of Kani’s crème sweats. Again KB painted the “ Basquiat Crown” on Tupac. The artwork is signed by Karl Kani and Karen Bystedt“GQ DAVID” was created by the Mexican born, California raised artist Josue Cornejo. David is part of the artist’s series of Classic Art meet Urban Intervention inspired by seeing the original works in museums and experiencing graffiti on the streets and wanting to meld them together. “THE LOST WARHOLS“ Collection pairs artists around the world creating layers on original photos of Warhol by KB turning the Artist Warhol into the art as he created Art out of so many icons - Decades after his death he himself is now the ICON and the ART. For this collectionKB often collaborates with contemporary artists in this case Peter Tunney for the “WARHOL CONTACT SHEET” and “GAME CHANGER” Bugazzi Art. An underlying theme in all KB’s art is a sensibility to aesthetic- the strength of the human spirit and inclusion.
